We're working with a range of welcoming, well run mainstream primary schools across Lewisham who are looking for caring, hands on Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a long term basis.
What your day might look like:- Supporting children in Nursery or Reception as they explore, play and learn
- Helping with phonics, early writing and number work
- Getting stuck into creative activities, messy play included
- Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed
- Being a calm, friendly face that children feel safe around
- Experience working with children in Early Years settings
- A patient, nurturing approach, you're the calm in the chaos
- Confidence supporting learning through play
- A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in everything
- Long term roles where you can build real relationships
- Supportive school teams who value their TAs, as they should
- Opportunities to grow your experience in EYFS settings
- Potential to secure a permanent role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
