Start Date: January

Contract: Part-time (2 days per week - Thursday & Friday)

Setting: Special Educational Needs (SEN) School

Are you a passionate and creative Early Years specialist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children with special educational needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team from January, working two days a week (Thursday and Friday).

About the Role

As our Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for pupils with a range of complex needs. You will plan and deliver personalised learning experiences, support communication and early development, and work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure every child thrives.

What We're Looking For
  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with strong Early Years experience.
  • Knowledge or experience of working within an SEN environment (desirable but not essential).
  • A warm, patient and creative approach to supporting young learners with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, therapists, and families.
  • A commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality Early Years provision tailored to individual needs.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and sensory-rich classroom environment.
  • Support children's communication, social interaction and early developmental milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals.
  • Build positive relationships with families and contribute to reviews and planning meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP processes.
