Early Years Practitioner (EYP)

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on Experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term Full-time / Part-time

Are you passionate about supporting young children during their crucial early development stages?

Your Role as an Early Years Practitioner:

• Support children's learning and development through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Assist with planning and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Monitor and record children's progress, supporting their individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers.

What You'll Need:

• Experience working with young children (nursery, preschool, childcare, or similar settings).
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting early development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2/3 or above) is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

We require a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
