Early Careers Consultant

As an Early Careers Consultant, you'll act as the Recruitment Partner to your business functions who is responsible for managing their vacancies through the end-to-end assessment and hiring process. This will include providing ongoing guidance to your business stakeholders, keeping them up to date on the recruitment journey as well as leading and facilitating their half day assessment events face to face in head office or virtually. You'll support the Strategic Resourcing Manager to implement assessment and attraction strategies and have the opportunity to work on high profile projects alongside the hiring processes. This could be supporting with our Early Careers new starter events, hosting webinars with potential candidates on how to apply or partnering with the business on their Summer Internship hiring. You'll work in a collaborative and very supportive team environment where you will be given all the necessary training and upskilling needed to perform and develop successfully in the role. In this high volume recruitment position you'll need to be comfortable dealing with candidates and hiring managers alike, influencing and challenging where necessary. Your work will focus on recruiting into our variety of Early Careers programmes such as Skills Development, Industrial Placements, Internships, and Work Experience. This is an incredibly varied position with lots of opportunities to help support how we shape our Early Careers recruitment strategy for the future.
This is a permanent role within the Early Careers Team in our People function, which is responsible for recruiting the next generation of entry-level diverse top talent for the organisation.

For this job, you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon office.
