E2E Test Manager

Exciting freelance opportunity with a major financial institution!

We're looking for an experienced Senior End-to-End Test Manager to lead testing efforts for a high-impact integration program involving multiple government entities and complex payment systems.

Logistics

• Position: Freelance Senior End-to-End Test Manager
• Duration: Until 31/12/2025 (with high likelihood of extension)
• Location: Brussels (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week onsite)
• Languages: English AND French or Dutch
• Day Rate: €(Negotiable & Competitive)

Core Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall test strategy for a large-scale integration program spanning multiple workstreams (daily banking, payments, legal, compliance, etc.)
• Lead End-to-End testing activities across functional and non-functional domains (e.g. regression, usability, performance, security)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, coverage, and quality across the full scope
• Support delivery teams in building and executing test plans, identifying risks, and resolving defects
• Track and report test progress, coverage, risks, and KPIs to program stakeholders
• Act as the single point of contact for all test-related strategy and coordination across internal and external teams
• Align test planning with release timelines, dependencies, and transformation milestones

Essential Skills

• 7+ years in test management, including ownership of end-to-end QA in programs >€5M
• Deep understanding of structured and risk-based testing practices
• Experience with tools like QC, Cucumber, SOAP, and service virtualisation
• Solid grasp of SDLC and multi-stream delivery in enterprise environments
• Proven leadership in both functional and non-functional testing

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to enterprise-level architecture
• Previous experience in large-scale transitions, integrations, or public sector programs
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern test governance models
