About the RoleAs a Dyslexia Specialist, you will play a vital part in supporting students with identified literacy needs, ensuring they can fully access learning and thrive across school life. You will deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions, plan bespoke support sessions, and use established dyslexia strategies to strengthen students' skills and confidence. Your role combines in-class support, specialist withdrawal sessions, and close collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals. You will use Provision Map and iSAMS to record, monitor, and evaluate support, while also contributing to EHCP and Pupil Passport outcomes. Central to this role is your commitment to students' emotional well-being, helping them stay motivated, organized, and ready to learn.
This is a permanent, part-time, 0.6 FTE position.

You can prioritise your workload, prepare effective resources, and liaise professionally with teachers and external agencies. Whether you are guiding a student through a structured intervention or supporting them in class, you bring enthusiasm, clarity, and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed.
