Duty Social Services Occupational Therapist

JustOT is recruiting an HCPC-registered, experienced Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in North London.

Role: Duty Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a Duty Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care Team. The team is very supportive, with a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, free in-house training for locums, and manageable workload with 4-weekly supervision.

This is a hybrid role, combining office and remote work: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Screen incoming OT referrals via telephone assessments.
2. Order minor equipment (e.g., toilet frames, commodes) following assessments where appropriate.
3. Conduct initial assessments and risk evaluations over the phone.
4. Occasional home visits may be required if staffing levels are low.

Requirements:

• Recent social services experience (minimum 5 years post-graduate).
• Some duty experience preferred.
• HCPC registration.
• Driving license is essential.

Hourly rate: £32.00

Location: North London

Hours: Full-time
