DT Teacher (Resistant Material)

PK Education are currently recruiting for a full-time DT Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Durham.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher with experience teaching Resistant Materials. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school and make a real impact within a well-established DT department.

The Role

• Full-time DT teaching position
• Teaching Design & Technology / Resistant Materials
• Delivering engaging and practical lessons across the secondary age range
• Planning and preparing high-quality lessons
• Supporting students to develop their practical and theoretical DT skills
• Working collaboratively with the wider department and school staff
• Immediate/ASAP start

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Has experience teaching DT, particularly Resistant Materials
• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Can deliver engaging, practical and well-structured lessons
• Has strong classroom management skills
• Is passionate about Design & Technology and student development
• Can commit to a full-time position
