Job Description
Driver - Richmond Village

Location: Richmond Village, Nantwich, St Joseph's Way, London Road, CW5 6LZ. Salary: £12.90 per hour plus paid breaks. Contract: Permanent, Part time, 24 hours per week (3 9 5pm shifts) with flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and facilitate daily transport schedules that meet residents' needs.
  • Provide scheduled and on demand trips (shopping, places of interest, medical appointments).
  • Collect and deliver equipment to and from the village using company vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled vehicle checks, keep documentation in order, clean vehicles, and maintain fuel supply.
  • Report any vehicle defects, investigate and document findings.
  • Complete journey logs and monitor Tax and MOT expiry dates, informing the administrator when due.
  • Lock vehicles and activate alarms when parked.
Qualifications
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience in a customer focused environment.
  • Polite, courteous, can do attitude, flexible and adaptable.
  • Responsible driver capable of building trusting relationships with people.
  • First aid training; experience driving groups, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail lifts (advantageous).
  • DBS check completed as part of recruitment (cost covered by Bupa).
