What you'll do

Deliver to customers on planned routes and maintain high service standards. Build professional relationships with customers and colleagues. Operate modern vehicles and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a valid, in date Category C licence
• Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date)
• Possess a Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network
• Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service

Desirable Criteria:

• Relevant Class 2 driving experience
• Multi-drop delivery/collection experience
• A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration
• A good knowledge of tail lift operation
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of good manual handling procedures
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with Driving Regulations and Working Time Legislation

Hours and working pattern

The successful candidate will be offered a core contract of 38 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (Tuesday to Saturday), on a job-and-finish basis. Overtime may be required in line with business needs, including a sixth working day (Monday) on a rotational basis of at least one in four weeks.

Drivers enjoy flexible start times, typically between 4am and 5am, with the ability to plan departures from the depot to suit delivery schedules while meeting service standards.
