We're looking for aCivil Engineerwith a growing track record in water, drainage, and infrastructure design. This is an opportunity to advance your technical capabilities and career, contribute to nationally and internationally significant projects, and collaborate with some of the UK's leading experts in the field.

Your role
  • Take a substantial lead in delivering and supporting the design of drainage, wastewater, and surface water management systems across a range of infrastructure and development projects.
  • Preparing and checking technical reports, drawings, and specifications in line with current standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on major UK infrastructure programmes such asSizewell C,Lower Thames Crossing, our national Rail portfolio, and initiatives to reduceCombined Sewer Overflow (CSO)discharges.
  • Contributing to integrated water management strategies that prioritiseclimate resilience,sustainability, andcommunity protection in both the UK and internationally.
  • Apply your experience of digital tools and data-driven approaches to enhance design efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Supporting socially impactful initiatives likeEDAROTH, delivering sustainable infrastructure and housing for underserved communities.
About you
  • A degree inCivil Engineeringor a related discipline, with relevant experience in drainage or water infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, BIM and design tools such as Causeway Flow, InfoWorks ICM,Civil 3D or MicroStation.
  • A good and increasing commercial awareness to be able to support our work- winning activities nationally and internationally.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively across teams, whilst also demonstrating a capability to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to learning and development, ideally working towardsIncorporated or Chartered statuswitheither the ICEorCIWEM; together with a willingness to support mentoring of our junior colleagues.
