The Dietitian, Clinical Specialist will be responsible forthe effective and efficient delivery of an evidenced based, person centred, quality Dietetic Service on the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (CNRT). The post holder will:

The Dietitian, Clinical Specialist will be responsible for the provision and delivery of a high-quality, specialist, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic Service for persons with acquired and progressive neurological conditions in accordance with standards of professional practice. The post holder will work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves in line with the objectives of the organisation.

The post holder will work with the Dietitian, Manager in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred Dietetic service across and between networks in the geographical area. They will carry out clinical, educational and administrative duties as required, working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team within a community setting. They will act as a resource and provide expert opinion, advice and guidance to dietetic colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
