My Local Authority Client in Buckinghamshire is looking to source an experienced Urban Designer to join their Planning Department.

The Principal Planner's role is to expert technical / professional / consultancy planning to contribute to meeting the service objectives, ensuring the provision of an effective, consistent and high quality planning development management service that is responsive to customer demands. You will be responsible for processing and determining complex planning applications within statutory timeframes and leading on providing advice through all stages of the planning process through PPAs and planning appeals and the provision of professional planning advice as required.

You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operates to currently.
