As Divisional Financial Controller you will manage the financial reporting and business partnering for a newly acquired group company. You will provide high level support to both the Group FD and the wider business and will be expected to make an impact commercially and work alongside the senior leadership team to deliver successful outcomes and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Management of daily finance operations and processes
• Delivery of timely, accurate and detailed financial reporting to the Board of Directors
• Provision of detailed budgeting and forecasting information supported by detailed variance analysis and commentary
• Financial modelling, analysis and presentations
• Delivery and continued improvement to the existing Board pack
• Working capital management including cash flow analysis and reporting
• Taking the lead in business partnering with heads of departments to provide detailed and accurate analysis of profit centre performance
• Active involvement and participation in the Senior Leadership Team
• Assisting Group FD in producing and presenting reports to the Board when required
• Working closely with Head of Departments from across the business to provide key financial and analytical guidance
• Active involvement in the commercials of the business to drive real positive change

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant
• Demonstrable experience in a similar senior finance role
• Strong and experienced level of analytical skills in a commercial environment
• Advanced Excel skills with a passion for manipulating data across all reporting & analysis
• Strong work ethic and a desire to challenge and be challenged
