Are you an experienced Disrepair Surveyor with a strong background in social housing? Are you passionate about delivering justice for tenants and ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and fit for living?

We're working with a leading housing provider committed to maintaining high standards in property condition and tenant satisfaction. Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand in their disrepair caseload, we're recruiting a dedicated Disrepair Surveyor to join their expert team.

Role Overview:

As a Disrepair Surveyor, you'll act as a key player in resolving housing disrepair claims-working closely with legal teams, tenants, and contractors. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Conducting detailed inspections of properties subject to disrepair claims

• Producing clear, evidence-based reports with recommendations and schedules of work

• Managing relationships with solicitors, tenants, and internal stakeholders

• Attending court when required as a technical witness

• Supporting proactive disrepair prevention through planned maintenance insights

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in housing disrepair surveying (social housing preferred)

• Strong understanding of housing legislation, HHSRS, and legal protocol

• Ability to manage complex caseloads and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

• HNC/HND, RICS, CIOB or equivalent qualification (or working towards)
