Role: WCA Disability Assessor - NMC Registered Nurses, OTs & Physios
Location: Southampton (Hybrid - mix of homeworking and local office assessments)
Salary: £42,000 - £43,000 + 5% Training Completion Bonus + Quality & Performance Bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (No weekends, no nights, no bank holidays)

- Conduct Work Capability Assessments (WCA) to understand how an individual's health conditions or disabilities affect their ability to work.
- Assess functional ability across a range of daily and work-related activities.
- Conduct consultations via telephone or face-to-face, with no treatment or hands-on care required.
- Review medical evidence and use your clinical reasoning to make objective assessments.
- Produce clear, accurate and detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Apply your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to each assessment, ensuring reports are fair, evidence-based and high quality.
We welcome Registered Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with at least one year of post-registration experience.
You'll need strong communication and report-writing skills, confidence using IT, and the ability to apply your clinical knowledge objectively.
Previous WCA or Disability Assessor experience is not required - full training is provided.
