Disability Assessor - Yeovil Location: Yeovil Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm No Shifts Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + Bonuses (pro rata for part-time) (Up to £4,000 salary increase in the first year based on performance) Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

The Role As a Clinical Assessor, you will:
  • Conduct structured assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face
  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions
  • Review medical evidence and functional impact
  • Produce clear, evidence-based clinical reports to support benefit decisions

A non-treatment, adult-focused role centred on clinical reasoning, analytical thinking, and report writing.

Fully Paid Training
  • 6-12 weeks depending on experience

Who We're Looking For Professionally registered UK clinicians (adult-focused):
  • Registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
  • Physiotherapists

Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months post-registration experience
  • At least 1 year recent UK clinical experience
  • Active NMC / HCPC / GPhC registration
  • Strong assessment and report-writing skills
  • Confident IT and typing ability
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
