  • No nights.

Salary
  • PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £39,500 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
  • WCA Assessor (5-6 shorter assessments per day): £42,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
  • Up to 10% quality and performance bonus.
  • Candidates should ideally be open to PIP or WCA depending on local availability.
Hours
  • Full time (WCA/PIP)
  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Part time (PIP only)
  • 0.6 FTE (3 days)
  • 0.8 FTE (4 days)
  • Can work any day of the week.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face to face)
  • Review medical evidence and daily living impact
  • Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Make objective recommendations based on evidence
  • This is an assessment focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
  • 12 week paid training covering:
    • Assessment techniques
    • DWP guidelines
    • Report writing
    • You will be fully supported before working independently.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year post registration experience in an adult setting
  • At least 1 year active registration
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Confident IT and typing skills
  • Sponsorship is not available.
