You'll conduct assessments by phone and face-to-face, review medical evidence and use your clinical knowledge to produce clear, objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

WCA Pathway

What Will You Be Doing?

• Conduct PIP or WCA assessments via phone and face-to-face
• Explore how health conditions affect daily living, mobility or ability to work
• Review medical evidence and health questionnaires
• Use your clinical knowledge to assess functional ability
• Produce accurate, clear and objective reports for the DWP

No Functional Assessment Experience? No Problem.

You'll receive a comprehensive 12-week training programme to give you everything you need to succeed, including assessment techniques, DWP guidelines and professional report writing.

Who Can Apply?

• NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
• Registered Nurses - RGN, RMN, RNLD
• Occupational Therapists
• Physiotherapists

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Good typing, report-writing and IT skills
• Full UK Right to Work - sponsorship is not available
