About The Role

About this opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Controls professional to join Gleeds UK Infrastructure as a senior member, supporting and leading high-profile commissions, and developing the Project Controls and PMO service line in the UK.

You will be a senior member of the Gleeds leadership team, representing the company as an ambassador.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing new business, and overseeing service delivery of multiple projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth across the UK.
  • Leading and preparing bids for new programs and frameworks.
  • Utilizing digital tools and innovating data and reporting for clients.
  • Managing commissions in accordance with Gleeds processes and procedures.
  • Delivering high-quality project controls services meeting client requirements.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Leading and managing teams, working with Project Directors on resources and workload, and ensuring administrative compliance.
  • Managing employee retention and development.
  • Enhancing Gleeds' project controls capabilities.
  • Defining and delivering Project Controls and PMO strategies.

About You

Who we're looking for:

Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills

  • Extensive experience in leading project controls consultancy.
  • Ability to motivate and support others.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability.
  • Proficient networking abilities.
  • Specialist knowledge in infrastructure sectors such as rail, water, power, or airports.
  • Experience in preparing bids for services.
  • Proven ability to deliver services and manage client relationships.
  • Experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders at high levels.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Membership of APM or Controls and Skills Authority.
  • Experience with project controls software such as MSP, P6.
