Job Summary

The Director of Treasury manages treasury operations and strategic initiatives, including banking relationships, credit card processors, and credit facilities. You will ensure optimal cash flow and liquidity, manage credit facilities, letters of credit, and surety bonds, and oversee corporate finance functions like covenant monitoring and compliance.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, with strong financial modeling skills, capable of presenting projections and trends to secure external credit approvals. You will also oversee insurance management, ensuring coverage and risk mitigation.

Essential Functions Treasury Operations:

• Lead and manage the treasury team for efficient daily operations.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity strategies.
• Oversee banking platforms and transaction monitoring.

Credit Facilities & Corporate Finance:

• Manage credit facilities, letters of credit, and bonds.
• Ensure compliance with financial covenants.
• Develop financial models to support credit approvals and communicate performance.
• Advise senior management on liquidity and funding strategies.

Insurance Management:

• Oversee insurance policies and renewals.
• Manage risk exposure through insurance strategies.

Qualifications Education:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related; MBA or CFA preferred.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in treasury or corporate finance with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of treasury management, credit facilities, and insurance.
• Experience in financial modeling and presenting data to stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in treasury systems and financial software.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hybrid work environment with approximately 10% travel, including working aboard ships and at shipyards.
