Director of Technology and Product

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Contract - £700-850PD (role yet to be assessed for IR35)

An exciting opportunity to define and deliver the technology and product strategy that drives real-world impact. You'll lead cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, IT, Data, and Infrastructure, translating bold ideas into cutting-edge solutions.

As a key member of the leadership team, you'll collaborate across the business to ensure our technology aligns with strategic goals while fostering a culture of innovation and agility.

• Set and execute a forward-looking technology and product roadmap

• Lead and inspire teams across development, product, IT, infrastructure, and data

• Oversee the full product lifecycle - from ideation to launch and beyond

• Champion agile methodologies and modern delivery practices

• Ensure robust, secure, and scalable technology operations

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise strategic initiatives

• Drive data-led decision making and digital transformation

• Manage budgets, resources, and performance metrics across the function

• 8+ years in technical or product leadership roles,

• Proven track record delivering complex tech and product strategies

• Deep experience across software development, agile delivery, and IT operations

• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance vision with execution

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align tech with business goals

• Experience with cloud, security frameworks (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+), and data strategies
