Director of Operations

We are seeking a special person to fill a new role, Director of Operations. You will bridge the gap between our Board of Trustees, CEO and Operational Delivery. You willbe responsible forturning our 5-year planinto high-quality sustainable action while ensuring that our cultureremainsthe golden thread running through everything we do. To do this you will need to be able to effectively manage our growing team of circa 31 staff, line manage our Senior Leadership Team, maximiseour yearlybudget ofroughly £1.7 million, andmonitorand report on our Key Performance Indicators directly to our CEO.

Over the last decade, WeMindTheGaphaswalked alongsidethe most amazing young people aged 11-25yrs whohave fallen through the gapsto find their place in theworld. However,sadly,factors such as the Covid-19 pandemicmean thatthe need for our programmes is greater than ever.

That is why we have launched an ambitious 5-yearplanto deepen our impact and expandour'Villages'. Through ourplace-based approach andcontinuum of five programmes,weprovide our'Gappies' withwork andlife skillsopportunities, a sense ofbelonging in their communities, and a chance to buildindependent, fulfilling lives.

Location: In-person at ourWeConnect Hubs(Wrexham, Flintshire, Cheshire)
Salary: £50,000
Hours: Full-time,5days a week (37.5hours)
Start Date:ASAP, ideally by 01/05/2026 (negotiable)
Contract: Permanent
