As Director of HR Business Partnering, you'll lead strategic HR partnership across Screwfix, providing expert counsel to senior stakeholders and ensuring our people agenda is fully aligned with commercial priorities. You'll inspire and develop high performing HR teams, oversee exceptional operational HR delivery through Shared Services, and play a central role in defining and delivering the People Strategy that underpins operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic HR partnership across the business, collaborating with senior leaders and influencing commercial priorities.
- Provide expert counsel to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment of people agenda with business objectives.
- Inspire, develop and coach high performing HR teams, fostering talent and growth.
- Oversee operational HR delivery through Shared Services, ensuring efficient processes and service excellence.
- Partner with Commercial & Operations to embed People Strategy in day to day operations, driving continuous improvement.
- Champion company culture and values, driving change with confidence and using insight to shape decisions that support sustainable growth.
- Act as a visible, trusted HR leader, championing culture, values, and growth.
- Senior HR leadership experience in a fast moving, consumer facing environment.
- Strong strategic HR partnership skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior leaders.
- Excellent coaching and talent development skills, with the ability to inspire and grow teams.
- Deep understanding of operational HR delivery, point to point services, and People Strategy implementation.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Proven ability to champion culture and values, and drive change in cross functional teams.
Head Office, Yeovil, Somerset - a beautiful location in the heart of the West Country. You'll work hybrid, 3 days per week at the office.
