About the role

A&M's PEPI practice in Germany is looking to hire a Director (m/f/d) - Commercial Excellence with a strong track record in sales force effectiveness, margin management, sales back office effectiveness, marketing optimization, and interim sales leadership. The ideal candidate is capable of managing and addressing complex business challenges within Commercial Excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and advise companies in the areas of Revenue & Margin Management
  • Develop transparency into market trends, competitive dynamics, growth opportunities, and customer and end user behavior and purchasing decisions
  • Review usage of advanced tools and technologies including CRM to drive accountability and establish greater visibility into the sales pipeline
Skills and Experience
  • Contribute to project work by combining creative problem solving with analytical rigor to drive actionable insights
  • Extensive and proven track record of managing fast-paced projects with a deep understanding of the private equity lifecycle and relevant networks
  • Strong financial acumen, understanding of P&L and cost drivers; proven ability to build a quarterly/annual business plan
  • Motivate, develop, and challenge all members of project team to exceed client expectations
Interpersonal Qualities
  • Hands on, non-hierarchical leadership style that fosters trust and collaboration across all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and effectively.
  • Objective, fact based approach to problem solving.
  • Strong values and integrity, leading by example and inspiring confidence in colleagues and clients.
  • Master's degree from an accredited university is essential
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
