Director IT - Advanced Manufacturing

We ve partnered with a client that operates a network of advanced manufacturing facilities across the UK and is midway through a major Industry 4.0 transformation programme. The Director IT will take ownership of that agenda, working closely with plant leadership and global IT governance to deliver tangible operational improvements.

Role summary: Drive digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT delivery to support manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Define IT roadmap and deliver Industry 4.0 projects;
• Oversee OT/IT convergence and cybersecurity programmes;
• Manage vendor relationships and enterprise applications;
• Lead IT team and budgetary control;
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data governance.

Candidate profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
• 10+ years IT leadership in manufacturing or industrial companies;
• Experience with MES, ERP, SCADA integration;
• Strong stakeholder and programme management skills.
