Job Description
Job Summary 
As a business partner to the International and UK leadership team, UK & International team members, the Director HR Business Partner is responsible for the overall implementation and application of Papa Johns' employee relations, HRIS, DE&I, HR programs, talent management, company policies and procedures. This role acts as a bridge between global initiatives and local activities to ensure relevance and creates the desired impact in the UK and International regions through careful adaptation. This is a hybrid role: 2 days per week in the office and 3 working from home.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)- Produces UK & International overall People Strategy and translates into key HR workstreams with a US alignment; takes a proactive approach to identifying key people issues and opportunities; builds strong business cases to support recommended courses of action.
- Primary budgetary control of the UK and International HR budget.
- Provide guidance on people system solutions that fit the business requirements for the UK & International Markets.
- Makes effective recommendations between line and staff responsibilities; has credibility with senior executives as an effective business partner.
- Plans, organizes, and implements significant HR initiatives across the UK and International markets, coordinates effectively across various departments and staff groups to ensure smooth communication and program implementation throughout the organization.
- Establishes credibility throughout the organization at all levels of management, in order to be an effective listener and problem solver.
- Leads a team of HR Business Partners and related staff; establishes objectives, goals and priorities for implementing HRIS solutions that support the use of HR technology across the organization.
- Develops strategies and implementation plans across the organization that identify talent within international markets.
- Counsel the corporation in embracing applicants and employees of all backgrounds while supporting the development and performance of all team members.
- Monitors and ensures corporate-wide compliance on a range of employment law topics relevant to both U.S. and international.
- Develops and produces all standalone International HR policies and provides expertise on organizational HR policies that cover both U.S. and International employees. Requires a full understanding of differences for UK & International policies.
- Develops and produces all UK HR programs, employment benefits, DE&I and related initiatives, with a complete understanding of the differences between UK & International policies along with coordinating and implementing such programs.
- Manage International contractor relationships with 3rd party agencies along with assessing the business risk and need.
