We are looking for an Partnerships Account Director to join our team on a Fixed
Term Contract for 12 months.
Looking after a key Wasserman client, this role is pivotal in the delivery of high profile partnership campaigns within the world of Football.
You will be responsible for overseeing client and team management across global partnerships. This role with entail management of the global account team - and working closely with the senior leadership team to identify exponential growth opportunities.

Based in London, the role will also be required to step in to help mentor and develop junior members of the team, as well as supporting the senior leadership team with new business client growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Work closely with the Senior Director to lead the account team to deliver
first class client service and delivery

o Understanding (and ideally experience) of football is a must!
o Responsible for all elements of programme execution, budget planning and tracking, and client success
- Campaign Management:
o Oversee and ensure successful delivery of client campaigns -
campaign planning, resourcing, multi-stakeholder management, rights delivery, reporting.
- Client Management:
o Lead client comms across on-going workstreams
o Develop and continue to foster a strong relationship with brand team
o Develop strong relationships and work closely with key rights holders as required
- Account Team Management:
o Provide strategic guidance and insight to the team to ensure that brand and business objectives are met
o Ensuring that the day-to-day management of the account continues
to function seamlessly from a top-down/bottom-up perspective.
o Oversee resourcing and team workloads across campaign and rights delivery.

o Develop strong relationships with all account leads and be main day to day contact
- Ambassador/talent management:
o Oversee the client's global ambassador agreements - working closely with dedicated talent resource
o Work across the detail of contracts and working with the talent and legal teams across contractual nuances (markets, talent/agents ways of working, commercial conflicts etc.)

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Extensive experience in a similar position with a proven track record of
success across Account Management, Brand Planning and Brand Activation
- Prior agency experience including past success in managing brands that
invest substantial budgets in partnerships, ideally at a global level
- Acumen to look at business performance and drive incremental account
growth
- Understanding of brands, rights holders and competitor agencies
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including both forecasting and reporting
- Full comprehension and ownership of agency-client dynamic
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated empathy and commitment to success, along with a proven ability to manage expectations
- Confident, articulate, passionate individual with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as well as ability to listen
- Strong project management style that can own and lead the client relationship and create the right team structure and environment to deliver proactively and beyond the client expectations
- Not afraid to challenge/question the strategic direction to ensure the
client objectives are achieved
