Job Description

JSS are pleased to be partnered with a listed Private Equity firm, who are highly regarded in the market and going through an exciting period of growth.


The company is seeking an FP&A Director to focus specifically on their carried interest programme, responsible for managing, coordinating, and forecasting carried interest arrangements throughout the organization.


This is a pivotal leadership role that involves overseeing complex, cross-functional projects while serving as the key point of contact for senior leadership regarding all carry-related matters.


Role Highlights:

Situated at the crossroads of finance, strategy, and stakeholder management, this Director position will:

  • Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of carry programmes across various asset classes and investment strategies.
  • Lead carry projection modelling and scenario analysis, offering insights and clarity to senior leaders and partners.
  • Act as the main contact for partners regarding carry projections and related financial insights.
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, tax, legal, HR, and investment teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment of carry frameworks.
  • Manage a small but high-performing team responsible for modelling, analysis, and operational support.


This is not a typical carry expert role - we are looking for a commercially astute, highly organized, and strategic project leader with a strong financial background.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or transaction services with a track record of leading cross-functional finance initiatives.
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA / ACA / CPA or equivalent) qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in or working with private equity, asset management, or professional services firms.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage projects across teams with different priorities and timelines.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage senior internal stakeholders, including partners.
