Are you a happy, caring, and responsible individual who loves working with children? We are seeking to appoint a Dining Hall Supervisor to join our experienced, supportive team.
At Breakspear, lunchtimes are about more than just food-they are a vital part of our children's social development and well-being. You will work collaboratively to ensure our pupils enjoy a safe, happy and well-structured lunchtime experience.
What the Role Involves:- Creating a Welcoming Space: Setting up the dining hall tables and benches ready for lunch service.
- Supporting Healthy Habits: Helping children practice good hygiene (like washing hands), encouraging healthy eating and maintaining a calm, disciplined dining environment.
- Playground Engagement: Supervising children during their breaks and actively leading fun play activities on the playground.
- Safety & Care: Keeping a watchful eye on children with food allergies, managing quick clean-ups of spillages and providing a caring first response to minor playground cuts or grazes.
- Have a great sense of humour and a positive, patient attitude.
- Can maintain a professional, calm manner at all times.
- Possess strong time-management and organisational skills.
