Job Description

Contract: 40 hours/week, 52 weeks per year, full-time permanent contract

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Overview

The Digital Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing Team to extend the profile, reputation and awareness of the school, nationally and internationally through focused initiatives to deliver the school's student recruitment objectives and build positive brand awareness. This is a multifaceted support role which requires excellent customer service, initiative, creativity, ease with numbers and data manipulation and a demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently.

The successful candidate must already have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Community Manager for social media channels, writing captions in English and French
  • Manipulate marketing data and provide accurate reports to management in an effective and timely fashion
  • Provide daily administrator support with the school website
  • Pitch creative digital marketing campaigns to reach targeted prospective families
  • Identify key external stakeholders to contact, and plan events to drive enrolment
  • Support the Admissions team when needed to provide an outstanding and thorough admissions service to prospective families
  • Demonstrate proactivity with ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times and are compliant with ISA inspection standards
  • Provide regular, innovative initiative regarding the organisation of Admissions data in the software to ensure data can be tracked efficiently and effectively, which in turn will drive marketing decisions
  • Improve upon the existing CRM system to provide an outstanding, thorough and customer-focused communications and enrolment process
  • Act as a role-model in the promotion of school, its aims, standards, and ideals and model these both in the school and in the wider community
  • Take photos and videos of school events
  • Collaborate with the Careers Team to build upon and grow the alumni network
  • Any ad hoc tasks as needed by the School
  • Experience in planning and organising all Social Media channels
  • Experience in creating and designing documents
  • Experience capturing data for analysis: SEO, Google analytics, surveys and other market research to look for patterns and trends
  • Experience producing graphs, reports and data analysis
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website management
  • Experience in email marketing
  • Excellent communication skills in English (native level), particularly written English
  • Strong knowledge of French would be a plus
  • Sociable, energetic, positive thinking, with excellent team spirit
  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter
  • Strong initiative and common sense, problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances
  • KPI orientated - you respond very well to targets and deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively
  • Open to a multilingual and multicultural environment

This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the School as may be reasonably expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. This is a common occurrence and would not justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
