DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: £80,000-£90,000
Location: Hybrid / Ad-hoc on-site (London, Belfast, or Corsham)
Clearance: Active SC required

Join a fast-growing UK defence-AI organisation building a sovereign, mission critical AI operating system used across MoD environments. They specialise in secure, deploy anywhere AI. From cloud to air gapped systems and are backed by major defence partners.

You'll help engineer and secure the infrastructure behind cutting edge defence AI platforms. This is a hands on, impactful role working across cloud, security, CI/CD, and automation in highly secure environments.

• Build and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP and/or AWS
• Own CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Embed security across the build and deployment lifecycle
• Implement container security (Docker/Kubernetes), secrets management and scanning
• Support deployments into restricted, offline, or air gapped environments
• Automate security controls, monitoring, and compliance
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on secure architecture

• Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP
• Deep DevSecOps/DevOps background (CI/CD, IaC, containers, automation)
• Solid cloud security knowledge (IAM, network security, encryption)
• Scripting skills (Python/Bash)
• Incident response and security tooling experience
• Active SC Clearance

Bonus: Defence experience, Kubernetes expertise, zero trust knowledge, or exposure to AI/ML infrastructure.
