DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)
Full-time (40-hour week) Start date: immediately Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring stable, secure, and highly available system operations
• Developing scripts, tools, and interfaces to support agile development processes
• Automating and optimizing build, test, and release processes as well as CI/CD pipelines
• Designing and automating software tests for quality assurance
• Managing and versioning source code and software artifacts
• Further development of development-related infrastructure components and self-service tools in the BiPRO community
• Establishment and further development of AI infrastructure and AI monitoring
• Development of MCP integrations and integration of LLM-based applications with LiteLLM and LocalAI
• Collaboration with the standards department, as well as documentation and knowledge transfer on DevOps and AI topics

Your Qualifications

• A successfully completed degree with a focus on mathematics, computer science, software development, or information technology, or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• Proven experience with Unix/Linux and shell programming
• Proven knowledge of technologies and concepts related to Docker
• Knowledge of typical open-source components, ideally Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Git, OpenAPI, and virtualization technologies (Proxmox)
• Knowledge of continuous delivery/integration or continuous testing
• Ideally, experience in the design and architecture of RESTful services/APIs
• Teamwork and communication skills for collaborating at the office with members of the working groups and projects
• A high degree of independence, resilience, and commitment to quality
