The company Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of Telekom Deutschland GmbH and provides the nationwide technical infrastructure of the group. Around 19,000 employees at DT Technik plan, design, build and operate the facilities and systems of the technical infrastructure nationwide on behalf of Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The company implements network projects, operates the network technology and, if necessary, takes over the maintenance of the technical infrastructure.

The Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design, development, planning, validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Technik's fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative, reliable state-of-the-art services to our cellular- and landline-based customers.

The scope of a current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud. We'll change the today's model of separated fixed and mobile systems and merge them. That's why we want you on our team.

Activities:

You will support the project team in the integration, validation and administration of software for voice services (I-SBC);

Additionally you will support in development, quality assurance and planning as well as implementation of product releases;

You will assist with the design of further automations of services, deployments, processes and/or operating models;

You will carry out performance analyses and tunings as well as error analysis and fixes;

You will assist with project-specific infrastructure activities and tool suite integration and delivery, and administer these.

Must have skills:

You are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:

- General Knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools (e.g. Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, Test Automation using Python/ behave), Scripting for Ansible/AWX and in Python (min. basic knowledge);

- Basic IMS knowledge with relevant communication protocols (e.g. SIP and RTP) and Telecommunications Industry experience preferredDetailed knowledge of SIP Protocol as well as supporting the team in system engineering activities;

- Willingness to learn and acquire cloud native/Kubernetes (Cloud Booster) skills when not already present;

- Willingness to participate in On-Call duties outside of normal work hours, if necessary;

Nice to have skills:

Understanding German would be helpful (optional)
