DevOps Engineer


Location: Antwerp

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team!

You will work closely with engineers and architects to build, improve, and maintain CI/CD tooling and infrastructure that supports our software development teams and clients.

You will be part of a hybrid-working team managing various development and deployment tools. Clear communication with both internal teams and external users will be an important part of your role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure management (using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python).
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Manage infrastructure and deployments on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to improve deployment processes, system monitoring, and automated testing.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Apply security best practices in infrastructure management, including securing credentials, managing access, and ensuring compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience maintaining and configuring CI/CD tools such as Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Kafka, ElasticSearch, SonarQube.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Practical knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Good understanding of Java or .NET ecosystems.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading development tools.
  • Ability to integrate and automate systems using REST APIs.
  • Ability to support teammates and advise clients on best practices.
  • Strong willingness to learn and work with new technologies.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kong API Gateway.
