The team is hiring a DevOps Engineer to lead and optimise CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application development and delivery
  • Lead DevOps best practices, integrating security into the CI/CD process ("DevSecOps")
  • Collaborate with software engineering and IT teams to troubleshoot build and release issues
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Monitor, optimize, and maintain infrastructure performance using Grafana and related tools
  • Ensure compliance and security are Embedded into the software delivery lifecycle
  • Act as a mentor and knowledge leader in DevOps within Agile environments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CI/CD automation and DevOps leadership
  • Deep knowledge of software development and delivery lifecycles
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps organizational practices
  • Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Version control systems, Grafana, Azure DevOps
  • Unix/Linux environments, Shell scripting

Location:

  • Edinburgh -2 days onsite

Duration:

  • 6 months

Salary:

  • Up to £475 Per (Inside IR35)
