Job Description
Despatch Operative needed in Gloucester, Paying £13.45ph, with overtime available. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 13:00 - 21:00. Immediate starts available for the right candidates.
We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to join our manufacturing client based in Gloucester on a temporary to permanent basis.This role involves preparing products for dispatch, ensuring accessories and components are checked and loaded onto the correct vehicles, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency throughout the shift. This is a physical role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting.

This is a physical role involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and preparing products for dispatch
- Ensuring accessories and components are loaded onto the correct vehicles
- Checking products against paperwork and dispatch notes
- Carrying out quality and quantity checksFollowing written and verbal instructions accurately
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environmentWorking efficiently to meet dispatch deadlines
- Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Previous warehouse, despatch or manufacturing experience preferred
- Good basic reading and checking skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Positive, hardworking attitude
- PPT or Counterbalance Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- £13.45 per hour
- Overtime opportunities available
