Job Description
About This Vacancy As a Civil Engineering Draftsman , you contribute to shaping underground infrastructure projects across the Netherlands. You translate technical issues into clear, executable designs and serve as a key link between engineering, execution, and project teams. You work meticulously, think proactively about smart solutions, and maintain oversight in a dynamic environment. What will you do? In this role, you are responsible for developing civil engineering designs for various project phases, from conceptual design to implementation design. You combine your technical insight with precise drafting skills, ensuring designs are complete, accurate, and practically executable. Your tasks include: - Developing 2D and 3D designs in AutoCAD and Civil3D; - Advising on permits, technical choices, and execution possibilities; - Visiting project sites for surveys, meetings, and coordination; - Drafting schedules and monitoring progress and quality; - Assisting with cost estimates and technical justifications in collaboration with costing teams; - Coordinating activities within the engineering team; - Ensuring all documents and drawings comply with relevant standards and guidelines. You work in a close-knit team of engineers and draftsmen and are a visible point of contact in daily operations. What We Expect From You You communicate clearly, work accurately, and maintain an overview, even during busy periods. You actively contribute ideas, dare to take initiative, and know how to involve colleagues in your ideas and approach. Additionally, You Possess 
- A completed vocational (mbo+) or higher professional (hbo) education in Civil Engineering;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a drafter or designer;
- Experience with AutoCAD and strong knowledge of Civil3D;
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of ASVV and CROW guidelines;
- Experience with sewer, infiltration, or storage calculations is a plus;
- Knowledge of the RAW system and specification writing software;
- A proactive, quality-oriented work attitude.
