ContextSYSTRA is expanding its Signature Team in the UK, working on high-profile projects such as the Transpennine Upgrade and HS2. Building on 50 years of success in the UK, we are growing our team and looking for passionate professionals to deliver across our portfolio.
We are currently strengthening our Engineering team in London, initially supporting the HS2 Old Oak Common project, by recruiting experienced Design Managers to oversee design delivery. This role suits a committed engineer with strong leadership, interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in Civil Engineering.

Main Duties- Collaborate with designers and contractors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, safe, and environmentally responsible design, construction, and commissioning activities, compliant with legislation.
- Coordinate between design and construction teams.
- Manage delivery and coordination of all work packages for the Old Oak Common JV station.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all project deliverables.
- Deliver work according to schedule, budget, and specifications.
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage design delivery within time and budget constraints.
- Broad design engineering experience in infrastructure.
- Good understanding of CDM regulations.
- Experience with NEC3 contracts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with ProjectWise and Bentley Systems.
- Membership in a professional institution.
