Job Title: Qualified Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: 3 days per week (days flexible)
Salary: £150-£240 per day
School DetailsThis secondary school caters ages 11-16 in the Burton-on-Trent region. It is graded 'Outstanding' across all key metrics in its Ofsted report, reflecting a strong commitment to the Catholic ethos of the Sir Ralph Sherwin trust and excellent school leadership. The environment is welcoming to both staff and pupils.
Vacancy Details- Cover Supervisor teaching across all subject areas, aligning with applicant specialisms where possible.
- Ensure pupils have a safe working environment that supports effective learning.
- Complete lesson reviews to inform returning staff of covered classes.
- Follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies.
- Qualified in Design & Technology.
- Available 3 full days per week, with days negotiable.
- Experience and competency in teaching Resistant Materials and handling machinery.
- Work with pupils aged 11-16.
