Dermatology GPwSI/ Consultant/ Speciality Doctor - Calderdale

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will work closely with our Community Dermatology team to support patients to access effective and timely care. You will run independent dermatology clinics, providing assessments and follow up sessions for patients presenting with a range of dermatological conditions. You will complete minor surgery including simple biopsies and excisions and provide medical prescription where appropriate. As a senior clinician, you will also contribute to MDT discussions to drive service improvement.

Essential qualifications
  • MRCGP
  • MBChB
  • Diploma in Dermatology (University of Cardiff) or extensive experience as an associate/assistant in a hospital or community service.
Desirable qualifications
  • GPwER/GPwSI Dermatology Accreditation
Working arrangements

This role can be offered on an employed or sessional basis, with a variety of hours available. We embrace the flexibility of modern healthcare by offering telephone and video consultations, allowing for home working where appropriate.
