The Role

As Deputy General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the business, supporting the General Manager to deliver outstanding customer experiences and strong commercial results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading from the front to ensure every customer has an exceptional visit.
  • Coaching, developing and inspiring your management team to perform at their best.
  • Maintaining high operational standards, ensuring the venue is clean, safe and fully operational.
  • Driving sales across multiple revenue streams and implementing local business initiatives.
  • Managing budgets, banking, stock control and financial performance.
  • Supporting a culture of high performance, engagement and accountability.
  • Working a flexible shift pattern, including evenings and three weekends out of every four.

About You

We're looking for an energetic, hands-on leader who loves developing people and creating memorable customer experiences.

You'll ideally have:

  • Management experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment such as hospitality, leisure, restaurants, bars, hotels, health & fitness, visitor attractions or late-night entertainment.
  • Strong food and beverage management experience within a high-volume operation.
  • At least three years' people management experience with key-holder responsibilities.
  • Experience in roles such as Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Restaurant Manager, Club Manager, Store Manager, Trading Manager or Centre Manager.
  • Commercial awareness with a proven track record of driving sales and growing revenue.
  • A positive attitude, plenty of energy and a passion for leading successful teams.
