OverviewNHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team in the post of Deputy Director of Public Health and Health Policy. The Directorate plays a key role in NHS Forth Valley by promoting and protecting population health across the region. It works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including Health and Social Care Partnerships, Local Authorities, Primary Care, Police Scotland, the Third Sector, and maintains strong ties with the University of Stirling.

Qualifications- Full GMC registration and licence to practice or equivalent for non medical applications
- Membership of the Faculty of Public Health or equivalent
- Inclusion in GMC Full and Specialist Register with a licence to practice/GDC Specialist List or inclusion in the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health Specialists at the point of application.
- Evidence of recent continued academic and professional development
- Excellent communication, listening and organisational skills.
