Job introduction

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative DDSL/CCE/CSE to join our team of dedicated and committed professionals as soon as possible.

The hours of work are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Thursday inclusive and Friday 8am-3.30pm, term time only (47.36 weeks per year).

The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 6 Point 19-22 currently £32,061-£33,699 full time equivalent. The pro rata salary range is £29,200-30,692 per annum. The actual starting salary for the successful candidates will be £29,200 per annum.

Paid weeks per year:47.36(inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Fixed term:Until 31 August 2025

About the role

Experience of working with young people is essential. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight for safeguarding interventions related to child criminal and sexual exploitation (CCE/CSE) across designated secondary schools. The role focuses on proactive, trauma-informed safeguarding, early intervention, and multi-agency collaboration to support vulnerable students. The ability to liaise with external agencies, relevant services and professionals to ensure effective referrals and follow-ups to meet the individual needs of the young person(s) is essential.
