Position Overview

The Deputy Company Secretary & Paralegal role is a part-time position that provides administrative, corporate governance, and legal support to the organisation's legal and finance departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

Paralegal Support

  • Supporting contract processes including drafting and maintaining trackers.
  • Handling NDAs and DocuSign management.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Assisting in tender processes.
  • Supporting regulatory licence applications.

Company Secretarial Support

  • Managing company registrations and strike-offs.
  • Liaising with Companies House and HMRC.
  • Preparing and filing statutory documents.
  • Administering share transfers and updating shareholder records.
  • Preparing board meeting documents and presentations.
  • Managing signatures and corporate records.
Eligibility
  • Knowledge of company secretarial procedures.
  • Experience in legal or paralegal work.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle regulatory and compliance-related tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
