About the RoleAs Demand Planning Manager for UK & Ireland, you are accountable for delivering a high-quality demand plan that supports customer service, inventory, and financial objectives. You will lead the UK & Ireland Demand Planning team and drive alignment across Commercial, Product Line, Finance, Supply Planning, and Logistics through a robust Demand Review and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning Europe, you will be part of the European Demand Planning Leadership Team and contribute to the development of planning capabilities, processes, and tools across the region.
What You'll DoLead Demand Planning Excellence:
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK & Ireland Demand Planning team (4 direct reports).
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Own and continuously improve the demand forecasting process.
- Deliver an Accurate Demand Plan.
Lead the monthly Demand Review process and drive consensus forecasting.
- Ensure forecasts reflect market intelligence, promotional plans, product launches, and customer insights.
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service levels, and inventory performance.
- Support scenario planning and risk management activities.
Partner Across the Business:
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Product Line, Supply Planning, and Logistics teams.
- Act as the key point of contact for demand-related planning decisions in the UK & Ireland business.
- Influence stakeholders to align on priorities, risks, and opportunities.
Drive Transformation:
- Support the adoption and optimization of SAP IBP and other planning tools.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and help harmonize planning practices across Europe.
- Champion efficient processes, governance, and best practices.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning.
- Previous people leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and demand planning processes.
- Experience working with SAP IBP Demand Planning or comparable planning systems.
- Advanced analytical skills and strong business acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience working in international and matrix organizations.
