MISSION

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a robust demand plan for the UK business and collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, commercial, marketing, and EMEA demand teams to meet business targets through the S&OP process.

ORGANISATION

  • Reports to Demand Planning Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

  • Manage an 18-month rolling forecast for Shiseido Brands in the UK & I market, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Champion process excellence and the S&OP process
  • Analyze portfolio performance to identify demand trends
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis for deviations from targets
  • Focus on Forecast Accuracy / MAPE with continuous improvement
  • Strive to meet KPIs related to stock availability and minimize excess & obsolescence
  • Lead monthly brand demand reviews, including forecast gap analysis and strategy adjustments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, and EMEA Supply Chain teams to manage forecast building blocks such as NPD launches, promotions, product performance, and strategic discontinuations

Ad Hoc

  • Adapt to critical process changes and support strategic planning, including preparing for and participating in monthly Executive S&OP meetings

PROFILE:

  • Experience as a Demand Planner in cosmetics/fragrance or similar fast-paced sectors (FMCG, retail)
  • Strong forecasting skills and S&OP experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP IBP or similar tools
  • High numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and analytical
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Accountability and resilience
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
