Job Description
Overview

The Delivery Planning Admin position at Pertemps Sheffield in Treeton is a temporary role for three months, offering £24.43 per hour. This varied administrative post supports the Delivery Planning Centre, focusing on accurate customer record management and efficient delivery coordination. Working 33 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure new customer deliveries are planned on time.
  • Manage customer closures, transfers and changes to delivery requirements.
  • Support delivery planning teams with administration and system updates.
  • Process trip confirmations and resolve billing or delivery queries.
  • Record, monitor and follow up on service incidents.
  • Produce reports for internal teams and sales colleagues.
  • Maintain customer information across internal systems.
  • Support telemetry administration, including commissioning and maintaining monitoring devices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Delivery Planning Centre.
  • Use your initiative to identify issues within the team or processes and proactively help resolve them.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within logistics, transport or a supply chain environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to identify problems and suggest practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team.
Desirable
  • Experience using SAP or similar business systems.
  • Experience producing reports and analysing data.
  • Knowledge of logistics or transport planning processes.
