We're looking for Delivery Managers who can make change happen smoothly and effectively. In this role, you'll focus on delivering value and quality outcomes, ensuring work is prioritised and sequenced in the best way to keep things moving without delays.
You'll play a key part in preparing the business for change and helping teams, processes, and people embrace new ways of working. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and stakeholders, you'll make sure delivery plans are achievable, quality standards are met, and change is embedded successfully.

Here's a taste of what you will be doing as a Delivery Manager at Nottingham Building Society:- Plan and Prioritise: Break down and sequence work effectively, ensuring initiatives are sized appropriately for smooth, predictable delivery.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Bring cross-functional teams together to tackle complex business challenges and manage ambiguity with confidence.
- Drive Value: Challenge assumptions and ensure every change delivers maximum impact with clear success measures.
- Manage Budgets: Provide structured oversight of cost plans, keeping budgets on track and aligned with delivery goals.
- Balance Quality and Feasibility: Work closely with Engineering Leads to align delivery commitments with technical realities and maintain high standards.
- Lead Delivery: Plan and manage work across sprints, longer term initiatives, or hybrid approaches to meet business needs.
- Remove Barriers: Identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies quickly to keep progress on track.
- Enable Change: Prepare the business for new ways of working through effective communication, training, and adoption plans.
- Continuous Delivery Expertise: Strong understanding of delivery principles and sustaining flow.
- Planning and Prioritisation: Skilled in sequencing and sizing change for predictability.
- Delivery Methods Knowledge: Experienced in Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- Business Change Awareness: Knowledge of readiness, training, and adoption practices.
- Problem Solving and Risk Management: Effective at managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Builds strong partnerships across product, engineering, and business teams.
- Qualifications and Tools: Formal training in delivery/project management and proficiency with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
