Job title: Delivery DriverJob location: StevenageSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Hours per week:40 hoursStart date: ASAPClient Summary:With 8 depots across the UK, this client provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across their wider group, providing maintenance and service options with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets. Position Summary:As a Delivery Driver you will be an experienced and flexible driver that can drive a 3.5t vehicle c/wtrailer up to 7t GVW, delivering and collecting plant and equipment across the UKRoles to include; Complete and record all daily vehicle checks, ensuring roadworthy at all times. Receive delivery and collection paperwork, ensure all items are available to be loaded and fleet numbers are correct. Responsible for safe and secure loading and unloading practices, this will involve driving plant on to a Trailer and attaching towable plant. Plan delivery routes in accordance with priority, ensure all plant and equipment is delivered safely and within the agreed time frames. Obtain signatures from site personnel and record any obvious defects and missing equipment. Fully comply with the company's undertakings towards the Operator Licence, Driving Hours and Working Time Directives Complete DCPC, in-House & FORS Training in line with Company policy Work as a Team player to ensure all tasks and deadlines are achieved.Desirable Experience: Full clean driving licence up to and including B+E is essential, C1+E (107) would be advantageous. Digital Tachograph Card. Driver CPC Training. Relevant experience within a similar role. Good knowledge of general plant and equipment.
